Not Very Traditional

Happy Monday and welcome back to the site.

I had a “bright” idea at the end of last week {not sure if that’s ever a good idea} and decided to challenge my creative team. I wanted to see how easy it might be to scrap your Christmas themed photo’s using non-Christmas themed kits. There was little time to work on this but I did get a few examples and they are VERY impressive examples t that!

Here they are along with the kits they’ve used;

This one is from Lisa

Lisa used Carefree to scrap this page of this adorable little guy. I love how the stars and the flowered paper still give it a Christmas feel. The orange and green papers lend to the feel as well. What a wonderful page for this challenge! Here is the kit she used;

This one is from Jan

Jan used the Daily Basis kit and again what an awesome choice! I love the kraft style paper and the bright traditional and non-traditional Christmas colors! Her “Be Merry” word art sets this layout off and is perfect for the excitement that you can feel while looking at the photo. here is the kit collection she used for this layout;

Aren’t these just perfect?! There are many ways to use the kits in your stash and to use kits that are not the current season’s theme. What a great feeling that I can use any kit I like for my themed photo’s at any time of year! How about you? Have you used the same philosophy when scrapping your pages? We would love for you to share them here. Go ahead and leave a link in the comments section here and show use what youve got!

That’s all for today. Here’s wishing you all a wonderful week and a super special and safe Thanksgiving with your families and friends ♥
